SynFonts Site Updated

| PermalinkI've finally managed to finish the new SynFonts Site. Dynamic action script and Flash... Wow! After only a two year wait, I've finally managed to get the site back up and running. Funny how when you're working for someone else you never seem to have time for your own fun projects.
But since I've been working for myself, I've had the opportunity to use my spare time to work on my own projects instead of filling out meaningless time sheets or bullshitting with coworkers or any of that other mindless dreck that goes on while you're "working for the man" It's just amazing how much you can get done.
Now that SynFonts is done (or at least done until I start "fixing bugs") I can start revamping my personal site. My plans are to take it out of the quick-built simple html format and push the boundaries of Flash.
Talkin' bout Flash... I'll be at Flash Forward 2001 in San Francisco during the last week of February. If you ask me nice, I'll bring you all back a chocolate filled cable car or some other bit of tourist junk.
If the projects that I have lined up come in, my schedule will be pretty tight for the next couple months again. I'm busy until the end of January on a fast food website (Can't tell you the name until I'm done, but trust me... it sounds like something out of the movie "Fargo") and after that I have two midsize projects and one smaller project lined up that are all going to be a blast to work on.
Happy belated holidays... or, very early I guess.

| PermalinkWhat a busy holiday season. I was worried that I might not make it out the door in time. I had to postpone my vacation for a couple days due to a very busy pre-holiday workweek... As usual, I ground myself into the... well... The ground. The last five vacations that I've taken, I've managed to be sick in some way, a cold here, a debilitating virus there and presto... three days out of seven are spent in the hotel room.
Alas...
I did enjoy working with the various clients that I worked with before the holiday season and should have some more current samples up later this quarter (I was going to say, this week... or month, but I know how things go. I'll be too busy to do it when I'd like)
Currently I only have a couple small projects "signed in blood" but there are several on the plate that are looming large, so if you need me for anything you should let me know now.
On the personal front, I'm overjoyed that the weather here in Atlanta is a bit colder than "usual" it kind of reminds me of home.
